A good set of four frames made in the manner of William Kent.
The outer frame made from walnut and with boldly carved and gilded wood egg and dart with a scrolling leaf at each corner. Set within is a solid oak oval finished plain save for a broad gilded sight and a carved flowerhead at each spandrel.
