A cast iron stick stand in the form of a French sailor standing on a design of maritime accoutrements and holding a loop of rope to hold the canes, to a rope-bound bale is impressed the identity of the maker, Alfred Corneau Charleville-(Mezieres (Ardennes)).
In excellent and original paint or patination, with the exception of the lift-out drip tray which has been repainted white, as it appeared to be originally.
