An armour plated steam frigate of the Royal Navy, she was their first to be fitted with a ram resulting in her being given the nick-name, 'Old Ramo'.
Some light staining, nearly all to the title margin. A repaired tear bottom centre, 5/8th inch, and another mid left hand margin extending into the image 2 1/2 in.
Within a period, bird's-eye maple veneered frame.
