A fine armorial device, gouache on vellum, painted by Lincoln's Inn Heraldic Office for the family of Robertson. The family motto Virtutis Gloria Merces (Glory is the Reward of Valour) on a banner beneath. Within the original gilt gesso frame, the provenance to the reverse.
