An exceptional Georgian trivet made entirely of cast brass elements, the top plate profusely decorated with a foliate design produced by engraving and hammering.
The juncture of the octagonal facetted ebony handle to the trivet is designed as a basket with pomegranates and issuing leaves and flowers.
