A tin-glazed earthenware tile, transfer-printed with two girls and an older woman, the fortune teller, seated at a table drinking coffee. In the background a pavilion with a weather-vane in the form of a figure of Mercury. The scene surrounded with a border of rococo scrolls centred with a Chinese mask. Made Liverpoool, mid 18th century; the print produced by Sadler and Green. 

English circa 1760. Glaze chip top left, some to the surface, further tiny glaze chips around the edges.
