Folk Art Hedgerow Cheroot Holder

Quintessential Folk Art, a cheroot holder made from a found rodents skull. Set with blown glass eyes and wire spectacles, the bowl is of turned wood, the stem perhaps also bone, and the mouthpiece fashioned from a piece of horn. 

Made sometime during the second half of the nineteenth century.  

5.75 inches long.
