A fine Victorian photo frame of exceptional quality, the heavy bronze plate gilded, pierced and engraved with a foliate design. Made to hold photographs in the front and to the reverse of these two doors, and when opened, a further double-size photograph.
Stamped on the stand for the retailer, Harry Grant. 29 Torwood Street. Torquay.
The firm of Harry Grant was established in 1836 as a marble works and at their height during the Victorian era, ran showrooms on Torquay's Strand and Bond Street in London.
