A wonderful eighteenth century horn snuff box pressed to imitate engine turning. Made in two halves, pressed into the same mould, joined around the middle. The top half cut and fitted with a with a lid bearing the same pattern as the base and joined with a neat, shaped hinge.
Probably English circa 1760.
