A mid-nineteenth century Dutch tabernacle frame, ebonized mahogany with ebony ripple moulded sight and outer edge, a repoussé crest of swagged fruit surmounted by a shell, all made of gilded brass. The columns, frieze and sunburst are made of red-stained tortoiseshell; the frieze divided by bone stringing, the sunburst alternating tortoiseshell and ebony.
