Creamware Egg Strainer

To separate a yolk from its white. This creamware example is probably from the Leeds Pottery in Yorkshire, the fine, sharp piercing suggesting as much. Plain save for the fine rope twisted handle secured at either end with a flower head.

In perfect condition, made circa 1780.
