Amongst the very best of its kind, an early Victorian revolving container for the flour and seasonings regularly used in the grand kitchen of an important English Country House.
Each of the eight lift out dishes is tinned and covered with a hinged flap which is engraved with the identifying name; Flour, Sugar, Mace, Allspice, Cloves, Peppercorns, Pepper & Salt. This final flap is further engraved with a baronet's coronet and the initials D.B.L.
