A fine 18th century Chinese reverse painted glass picture of Thaïs leading the destruction of the palace of Persepolis, the image taken from an engraving of this title after the original work by Joshua Reynolds executed in 1781.

This painting retains the original Chinese carved and gilded frame, the overall dimensions 26.25 in x 18.25 in
