A fine engraved portrait of Charles I after the painting by Anthony van Dyke, three-quarter length, depicted wearing his armour and holding a baton, his crown and helmet to his left.
Engraved by Pieter de Jode II and published by Matheus Antonius, Antwerp; dedicated to the Bishop of Ghent, circa mid 17th century.
On laid paper. Trimmed to outside of the plate mark.
Margin repair top left hand corner to just within the printed image and again centre margin, above the King's head, a little into the image. Loose, unframed.
