A wonderful Victorian fender of great scale with a substantial cast iron openwork fret, parcel-gilt and polychrome painted, centred with the mask of a green man flanked by phoenix and ornamental fish. With bold balusters at each corner standing on an architectural cast plinth. The top rail is cast white brass or nickel.
