A souvenir of the Isle of Wight, The Arched Rock at Freshwater, made using the famous coloured sands of Alum Bay perhaps by John Neat Jr., second generation of sand artists, born in 1821 and thereby likely working at the time this was made, around 1840.

The then famous Arched Rock was swept away in a tremendous storm visited upon the Island in 1992.
